ORCO-GSG new Sponsor of Network B!Gründet

The Gewerbesiedlungs-Gesellschaft mbH (ORCO-GSG), an affiliated company of ORCO Germany, is the new sponsoring partner of Berlin network B!Gründet. Both are attending the 24th German Gründer- und Unternehmertage (deGUT) in Berlin to mark the beginning of their cooperation.

Marcel Tilmann, Project Leader at ipal – a Berlin-based patent agency, co-ordinator of B!Gründet: „The support of our new sponsoring partner ORCO-GSG not only allows us to strengthen our network, but also enables us to provide extensive know-how from the real estate market to start-ups.“
Rainer Bormann, Managing Director of ORCO-GSG: „The concept of B!Gründet is convincing and made us decide to support the network financially and in content. The cooperation is a further segment in our program to support start-ups and young companies. We are certain this investment will facilitate the way into independence for students and recent graduates of Berlin’s universities. “
The first common events for B!Gründet and ORCO-GSG are scheduled for autumn 2008; the chosen topic will be „Formation of a company and site selection“.
Main task for the Network B!Gründet is to support potential start-ups from the start-up application phase to financing opportunities to the actual formation of a company. B!Gründet was founded in 2004 to support start-ups, and it sets standards with its work on a national level. It currently holds 12 partners, e. g. University of Arts Berlin, Free University, Humboldt University, College for Techniques and Economy, and Technology Coaching Centre.

ORCO-GSG was founded in 1965 as the state-owned Gewerbesiedlungs-Gesellschaft mbH and became an affiliated company of ORCO Germany in June 2007. Approx. 850.000 sqm offices and multi-use space in 45 building complexes make ORCO-GSG the leading provider of commercial space in Berlin. ORCO Germany
ORCO Germany S.A. is a real estate company and is registered in Luxembourg and that is listed in the Prime Standard on the Regulated Market of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
